From gallery openings to local lectures, we're always looking for new ways to connect to our community and bring that inspiration back to our work. One of our favorite events is PechaKucha - a global phenomenon held in cities around the world - including right here at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth. PechaKucha is a monthly speaker series that follows a unique presentation format originally developed to keep wordy architects on track. (We're a passionate bunch!) Talks can be anything from raising chickens to the transformative power of art, but here's the catch; You've only got 20 slides to tell your story and slides advance automatically every 20 seconds!
