Hotel & Development | Newburyport, MA

Railyard property revitalization concept

This proposed hotel is a unique Seacoast destination, offering visitors proximity to historic downtown waterfront views, and many other New England attractions.

Winter Holben incorporated materials and themes inspired by the industrial history of Newburyport while adding contemporary elements to revitalize this parcel of land. The design concept for the massing of buildings was developed from the notions of transportation and connectivity, both at the site and city levels, offering visitors a unique experience, whether arriving by car, bike or foot. The hotel, shops, and restaurants will provide a new destination point in the city for both locals and travelers alike.
