Planning the Transformation of a Railyard into a Vibrant Neighborhood Development
On January 30th WINTER HOLBEN, along with the project team, hosted a neighborhood meeting at Great Rhythm Brewing Co. to share the vision for transforming the adjacent railyard property into a vibrant neighborhood. Over 50 residents from the neighborhood turned out - showing the great interest in a property that has long been unkept and underutilized. The ongoing site analysis and planning has generated a series of buildings that will create a new neighborhood with a continuous public greenway along the North Mill Pond. The greenway will include a multiuse path with access from both Maplewood Ave. and Bartlett Street. More recently the team has gained approval for the lot subdivision variances and the Planning Board approval for the rezoning of the new lots expanding the character based zoning further into the site.
