Exhibit Design for Strawbery Banke
Interpreting the Historic Thomas Bailey Aldrich Garden Through Design
WINTER HOLBEN is proud to have designed the new outdoor exhibit for the newly revitalized Thomas Bailey Aldrich Garden at Strawbery Banke Museum. Inspired by Aldrich’s historic book The Shadow of the Flowers, the exhibit invites visitors to explore the garden’s beauty while learning about its literary and horticultural significance.
The design blends elegance and modernity, complementing the historic charm of the garden and Aldrich House without overshadowing them. Interpretive panels and thoughtfully integrated displays offer an engaging, informative experience for guests.
The exhibit was unveiled at a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Strawbery Banke Executive Director Linnea Grim and Matthew Kochca, drawing many supporters to celebrate the restoration and the renewed connection between literature, history, and landscape.
