With more than 3,900 locations in the United States, Bank of America is one of the largest banking institutions in the country. Creating a seamless and consistent retail experience that continuously evolves at this scale requires a high level of collaboration and integration. As primary creative services partner to the financial center design team for over 5 years WINTER HOLBEN provided integral partnership working with marketing, brand, and architecture stakeholders to help develop and deliver multidisciplinary design solutions. This work involves a deep understanding of the team's vision, strategy and architectural and brand standards. 

Details of retail design services provided include: 

  • Custom design applications for high profile/flagship locations in Boston, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco and others
  • Concept design through design intent of specialized technology based financial centers (over 70 locations)
  • Design and development of merchandising fixtures and elements including; window displays, custom static and digital fixtures, regulatory fixtures, and other experiential elements.
  • Design and development of brand experience elements including; custom wallcovering, line of business wayfinding, custom glass film patterns, and other brand and wayfinding elements.
  • Creation and maintenance of multiple detailed strategy and guidelines interactive documents (financial centers, ATMs, advanced centers)
  • Close collaboration and coordination  with internal stakeholders (brand, marketing, architecture) and external partners (fabrication, installation)
